The factory calibration leaves enthusiasts wanting. iE rewrote it for performance driving, so the car holds the right gear instead of hunting. Drive and sport get their own shift points and throttle mapping, 7th and 8th work in every mode, and dropping multiple gears happens without delay for near-instant boost.

OPTIMIZED SHIFT RPM

Every gear's shift point is remapped to keep the engine in its strongest power for the fastest possible acceleration, in drive, sport and AMAX. In manual mode the limit stays at 6500 RPM in every gear, so you keep full control of when it shifts.

FAQs

Do I need an iE ECU tune too?

The transmission tune is calibrated to work with your iE engine tune. iE Stage 3 engine tunes require it.

Will it work on my 2021 or newer car?

Possibly. Some B9.5 transmissions are locked. Run the TCU Unlock Guide in your POWERlink app first.

Do I need a second POWERlink?

No. One POWERlink flashes both your ECU and TCU tunes.

Does it change the manual mode rev limit?

Manual mode keeps a 6500 RPM limit in every gear. The optimized shift points apply in drive, sport and AMAX.

Can I adjust launch control?

On 2017-2020 B9 cars, yes: street, aggressive or race. 2021 and newer B9.5 cars get one optimized launch setting.
