PREFER A LAPTOP?

No problem. iE Flash Wizard software lets the POWERlink flash tunes, data log, and read or write codes from any Windows 10 or newer laptop or tablet. It is also how MK5 and MK6 generation 2.0T and 2.5L cars are tuned, since those ECUs are not supported by the mobile app.

Your POWERlink can flash up to 5 different vehicle VINs, so one tuner covers the whole driveway. Tunes are sold separately for each car. When you add parts, moving up a stage only costs the difference between the two tunes, bought straight from the app with iE Tuning Credits.

STILL ON A V3? TRADE UP.

Mobile flashing needs a Bluetooth V4 POWERlink. Older V3 tuners are not compatible with the mobile app. Send your V3 back through our trade-in program and get a $50 refund on your new V4.

FAQs

Does the POWERlink include a tune?

No. This is the tuner only. iE performance tunes are vehicle specific and sold separately. Shop tunes for your car.

Can I flash my car from my phone?

Yes, on supported platforms, using the POWERlink app for Apple and Android. VW MK5 and MK6 generation 2.0T and 2.5L cars, including 3C, B6, 8P, 8U and 5N chassis, need a Windows 10 or newer laptop instead. See the full list of supported vehicles.

I already own a V4. Why won't it connect over Bluetooth?

Existing V4 owners may need to update the dongle firmware to enable Bluetooth mobile flashing. Here is how.

Will my older V3 POWERlink work with the app?

No. The mobile app is not compatible with V3 serial number POWERlinks. Upgrade to a V4 and get a $50 refund when you return your V3 through our trade-in program.

Can I go back to stock?

Yes. You can return to 100% stock programming at any time, then flash back to your tune whenever you want.

How many cars can one POWERlink tune?

Up to 5 different VINs. Each car needs its own tune.

How do I upgrade stages later?

Install the matching hardware, open the app, and buy the upgrade. You only pay the difference between the two tunes, using iE Tuning Credits.

Does it flash transmission tunes too?

Yes. The POWERlink flashes both iE engine and transmission tunes.
