ADDITIONAL TUNE FEATURES

HIGH & LOW TORQUE FILES

High-torque ECU calibrations maximize power gains throughout the entire powerband which quickly exceeds the torque limitations of the factory DSG calibration (auto trans) or the stock clutch (manual trans). To avoid clutch slip, iE Stage 1 & Stage 2 (non-IS38) tunes include low torque files for vehicles with stock DSG tune or stock clutch.

Low and high torque files included with Stage 1 & 2 tunes.

EXHAUST CRACKLE

Exhaust Crackle feature adds an addicitng motorsport-inspired crackle sound to your exhaust note when you let off the accelerator or downshift above 3K RPM. This feature is active in Sport Mode or Sport Manual Mode so you can enjoy this feature when you want, and stay civil when you need it.

Exhaust Crackle is included on stage 2 and higher tunes.

BRAKE BOOST

Commonly used in roll racing, Brake Boosting allows you to build extra boost by applying brake pressure while accelerating. Release the brake pressure for a "rolling launch" or extra surge of power.

Brake Boost is included on all tune stages.

INCREASED RPM

To take advantage of the new larger power band, factory rev limits have been raised to 7000RPM in all stages. On DSG equipped cars, the transmission will shift slightly before the new engine RPM (6900RPM).

DSG Tune is required to unlock higher RPM.

I paired this ecu tune with tcu dsg tune from ie , arm catted dp and mbrp catback its nice the Crackle file with 93 high torque is VERY GOOD forsure im glad i finally went stage 2 very good performance overall. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Upgraded from a JB4 to a stage 2 tune

I started with a 2022 GLI and my first mod was a JB4. The piggyback definitely woke the car up and was a blast until my clutch started slipping a couple months in. Upgraded the clutch, down pipe, intake and ran the JB4 for a while and was pretty happy overall. Just went with a front mount intercooler and finally pulled the trigger on a proper stage 2 flash and couldn't be happier. **** Dyno can't really tell a difference power wise between the stage 2 and the JB4, but I can tell that the torque feels more linear and doesn't fall off as hard on the top end as well as the car seems to be overall running smoother with the proper software. I'm currently saving to get a HPFP and the true flex sensor because an extra 60whp for going flex fuel is a no brainer. Flashing with the IE power link was pretty easy but the first flash took quite a bit of time. I flashed in-between tunes (crackle tune 93 and regular 93) and flashing between tunes takes about 2 minutes using my phone. Could not be happier with IE customer support they have been more than willing to answer any questions I have about the performance gains and fitment questions. They've been really great to work with and I couldn't recommend them more. You've earned a loyal customer.

2017 Audi A3 Quattro

This tune really wakes up the car and its a little sleeper now. here are some real world 1/4 mile times i did at TMP in Ontario, Canada

Bone stock ran 14.0 @ 99mph

APR Open pex intake, Stage 1 IE tune ran 13.1 @105mph

APR Open pex intake , Stage 1 IE tune and IE DSG tune ran 12.83 @105.5mph (high torque setting) 3400rpm launch

Thats a night and day difference boys, My cars beating up some mustangs and challengers going down the track silently with all season tires lool

been running this tune for 2 years 40,000kms so far and zero problems. Gas mileage is the same as stock if you drive it normally which i do most of the time commuting it back and forth to work.

10/10 Would recommend been so much fun and super easy to change tunes with my phone.

Only thing i can say i would change is the DSG tunes shift point from 5th to 6th gear driving normally on the highway, it stays in 5th unless you go over 100kmph. would be nice to lower that a bit other than that everything is perfect!

Stage 1 tune on ‘17 VW Golf GTI

This tune really wakes up the car without impacting everyday, around town driving. It’s like there is a dragon sleeping under the hood, ready to be unleashed at any second. The throttle response is much more immediate than stocks and it pulls with power through so much more of the bands. Tuning was also super simple and super easy with the mobile app. 10/10 recommended!

So much fun!

I've got about 46k miles on a bone stock 2017 GTi and figured it was time to pull the trigger on a tune. Being in California and all stock, I went with the 91+low torque file and it's great. I don't usually drive the car hard, never launch it, yet my clutch is already slipping in high gears. It's not surprising, but was hoping that'd last longer. :) Either way, I wouldn't go back--there's so much more usable power now!
