Garrett engineered the PowerMax GT2260S Turbocharger as a direct bolt-in upgrade specifically for the VW and Audi MK7 & 8V (MQB) platform, meeting all the criteria that iE calibrators value for the ideal street turbo. Paired with our advanced Stage 3 tuning, this turbo provides 450-485HP, a wider powerband, smooth power delivery, and responsive boost with negligible lag compared to stock. Note: The Garrett GT2260S is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory turbocharger and accepts all factory bolts, gaskets, etc. Garrett does not include replacement gasket and bolt parts with the turbo; we highly recommend purchasing a complete MK7 turbo gasket/install kit before installing your new PowerMax upgrade.

Great turbo for a 1.8T

I'm running this turbo on my 2017 Golf Alltrack and it's been great. Supporting mods are Multiport Injection, Flex Fuel, 42DD Intake, FMIC + Charge Pipes, IE DownPipe, and AWE Touring Catback.

Tuning is with United Motorsports Big Turbo/ProFlex/Port Injection and I'm very happy with the quality and delivery of the turbo. It absolutely rips on E85

Bolt on fun

Straight forward install. Extreme difference in power. Just the right amount for good track days and also tame enough daily street driving.

The only slight issue was Garrett needs to put foam packing on all sides of the box the turbo comes in. Slight cosmetic rub from the turbo coming through the box on shipping.

Awesome upgrade from an is20

I have had this turbo for over 2 years and 20k miles now. It still brings a smile to my face when I get on it. Sound is amazing, power band is so much better, while still hitting boost early at lower rpms.

The IE flex tune and this turbo are a great option for someone wanting a fun set up without risking blowing the engine. 60-130 is 8.6. Best 1/4 mile is pictured. 2017 A3 Quattro

Freaking awesome

I have a 2018 GTI MK7.5 I was completely stock. I went straight for stage 3 Garrett GT2260s turbo I bought it about 6 months back I am running a 93 tune including their intercooler and air intake The power feels amazing our power you will say fourth gear and off feels insane. But it doesn’t like in first or second or third. It’s still pretty fast and it pulls like a free train. I’ve been not having any issues or problems at all with the turbo it sounds amazing .
