DSG launch control has been completely reworked to deliver chest pounding launches from a stop. The factory delay felt when releasing the brake pedal is greatly reduced for a faster reaction time. 3 different launch RPMs are included with your DSG Tune so you can dial in the fastest launch for your setup and conditions. With the proper launch RPM set in your TCU, you can launch to the moon knowing your tires will put down the maximum power needed for the fastest launch.

IE's POWERlink Cable and Flash Wizard software gives you the freedom to quickly flash your new IE ECU or TCU Tune. Simply plug your POWERlink into the vehicle's OBD-2 port and follow the on-screen directions, it's that easy!

If you are purchasing along with an IE ECU Tune, you do not need to purchase two POWERlink cables. One cable can flash both your ECU and TCU tunes.

IE's fully proven transmission software allows the full performance experience from your turbocharged V8 engine while retaining factory comfort and reliability. IE's own tuning technology suite is used to completely reverse-engineer the factory transmission mapping, allowing our software engineers access to realign all safety protocols for the new DSG calibration. Every tune parameter undergoes months of testing on our in-house dyno systems to verify all correct conditions for peak power delivery and reliability. All driving behavioral maps undergo thousands of miles of testing and a variety of users were polled to develop the driving characteristics.

The factory DSG calibration is designed to keep the engine operating extremely low in RPM and short shift as much as possible. IE software engineers have completely reworked all the complicated drive mapping within the transmission computer control unit with enthusiast and performance driving in mind. This new calibration reworks all of the factory short-comings to eliminate vibration and "lugging" feelings. Downshifting behavior is modified to deliver faster and on demand power when you need it.

ECU Tuning unlocks massive amounts of power form the twin turbo V8 engine. Increasing the clutch pressure allows for the transmission to hold this torque without causing clutch damage or expedited wear. With the increased torque, the acceleration will be greatly increased and launches are far more aggressive.

The clutch engagement has been reworked to reduce the annoying “DSG Lag” when moving away from a stop. This feature is most noticeable in daily driving scenarios and makes your every day commute much more enjoyable.
