Save your engine from an oily mess, built-up crankcase pressure, rough idle, fuel economy, and boost loss with a quick and simple install that takes less than 20 minutes on average. You will immediately notice a drastic improvement in drivability and power if your valve was leaking previously.

STOCK PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE ISSUES

One of the most common failures on the 2.0T FSI engine is the factory pressure-relief valve. These valves are in place to recirculate crankcase gases into the intake manifold once they open. Although this works fine for a few thousand miles, they begin to leak over time and cause boost to go past the valve into the valve cover. This not only causes an oily mess in the engine bay from crankcase pressure but a rough idle, fuel economy decline and boost loss. With boost pressure far below where it should be, it is common to notice significant power losses and poor drivability.

IE PCV SOLUTION PLATE

Using our kit, you are able to completely remove the pressure-relief valve and replace it with a billet aluminum plate. This allows the factory breather system to function properly while eliminating the failure-prone relief valve. With the hose between the valve cover and intake manifold completely eliminated, the included boost cap is used to block off the hose connection on the end of the intake manifold. Our billet cap features a tapped hole that can be plugged or used to plumb a boost gauge, compared to competitor’s products that do not offer a provision for plumbing a boost gauge.

What the OEM part should've been

Installed the PCV plate a few weeks ago on my 2012 TTS. Fitment was a bit tight for the intake plug, but otherwise everything was great. Engine runs good, and the aesthetic is a great bonus. Looking forward to getting the IE air box next!

Unexpectedly great results.

I've had unexpectedly great results after I stalling the pcv solution kit. I was just hoping to reduce the carbon deposits on my intake valves. I won't know if it'll help with that until I've run it for a while. Maybe not for quite a while. The unexpected thing is that my car runs considerably better with this kit on it. I put it on my mk2 TTS. I have noticably better throttle response, more power, and best of all,y dsg transmission is shifting much nicer. Nice crisp shifting and the timing of the shifts is better too. I have stage 1 apr software, including the dsg software. Even with that, it always seemed to shift at the wrong times unless I shifted manually. Now it's hitting the right revs , depending on how much I'm pushing it, and shifting very crisply. I'm definitely glad I installed this kit. I'm not sure how much it might help the car on deposits. I manually cleaned my intake valves/ports this past winter and it made a big difference. But then I started getting hesitation again after only a couple thousand miles. So I used the CRC GDI intake valve cleaner, spraying it intake the intake just as the instructions said. That made a big difference again. So then I changed my oil, and while under there I noticed oil on the lower hose between the intercooler and throttle body. So it's pooling oil in there again already. The thing about that is it can't be coming from the pcv valve. That line runs directly into the intake manifold. So oil in the intercooler has to be coming…

Tight fit is the best fit.

No directions which after reading the comments you should include because the O’ring goes with the intake block off and I see someone put it on the valve cover side it should also say the piece needs pressed in on valve cover side but other than that maybe new bolts I replaced mine. I also recommend adding a new gasket or saying you’ll need to buy a new gasket. Other than that I’m freaking stoked about your product and the fit
